28 Establishment of advisory committees
(1) The Minister may establish advisory committees to provide advice to
the Minister or the commissioner about fair trading and consumer
protection.
(2) An instrument establishing a committee is a notifiable instrument.
(3) An advisory committee must provide advice as required by the
Minister or the commissioner and may provide advice on its own
initiative.
(4) In exercising its functions, an advisory committee may consult with
members of the public and with other entities interested in fair trading
and consumer protection matters.
