44Use and disclosure of personal information by persons making payments to former employees

#### 44 Use and disclosure of personal information by persons making payments to former employees For the purposes of facilitating the administration of this Act, a person, who is making, proposes to make or has made a payment to a former employee of an employer associated with an amount owing or owed to the former employee in connection with his or her employment, may: (a) use personal information about the former employee or the employer; and (b) disclose to the Department personal information about the former employee or employer.
