#### 26 Applying maximum weekly wage rate—entitlements except wages entitlement (1) This section affects a basic amount for a person’s employment entitlement for his or her employment if the governing instrument for the employment provided for a rate of pay relevant to working out the basic amount that, when expressed as a weekly rate, exceeded the maximum weekly wage rate at the end of the employment. (2) Work out the basic amount as if the governing instrument had provided for the relevant wage rate to be the maximum weekly wage rate at the end of the employment. > Note: This affects the basic amount by affecting the amount of the employment entitlement. It may also affect the basic amount by affecting limits on the basic amount such as those in paragraphs 22(b) and 23(b). (3) This section does not affect the basic amount for the person’s wages entitlement.
