7 Release Mechanism
For the purposes of clauses 4 and 5, for all calendar years in a project’s crediting period, the abatement, R, released from the sequestration bank for a particular project area and for a particular calendar year, in tonnes CO2‑e, is given by the following equation:

SB is the amount in the sequestration bank as calculated in accordance with clause 8.
N is the total number of full calendar years the project is entitled to be credited for under this determination.
Nelapsed is the total number of full calendar years of that crediting period N that have passed by the beginning of the particular calendar year for which this calculation is being done.
