12 Attribution of cumulative net abatement amount to a project area after subdivision
- For the purposes of subsection 38(3) of this instrument, for a subdivided project area where the entire subdivided project area is removed from the project in accordance with the CFI Rule, the portion of the cumulative net abatement amount, ACumulative, in tonnes CO2‑e, is given by the following equation:
where:
ASeq,Cumulative is calculated in accordance with equation 19.
C̄B,Subdiv has the same value as in subclause 11(1).
C̄B,Earlier is the mean baseline carbon stock in the earlier project area, in tonnes CO2-e, and is calculated in accordance with clause 6 over the baseline period and for the earlier project area.
- For the purposes of subclause (1), the cumulative net abatement amount of sequestration, ASeq,Cumulative, in tonnes CO2‑e, is given by the following equation:
where:
yB is the first calendar year of the project’s crediting period (whether under this determination or any other determination under which the project was covered during the crediting period).
y is the current calendar year of the project.
Aseq is calculated for that earlier project area in accordance with clause 4 of this instrument (where any adjustments that have been previously made in calculating Aseq for the earlier project area are also applied) using SavCAM.
Meaning of earlier project area
