5 Approved Guide
The Guide prepared by the Authority, which is set out in Schedule 1 to this instrument, is approved for the purposes of the Seafarers Act.
Note: If an employer or the Administrative Appeals Tribunal is required to assess or reassess, or review the assessment or reassessment of, the degree of permanent impairment of an employee resulting from an injury, or the degree of non-economic loss suffered by an employee, the assessment, reassessment or review must be made in accordance with the approved Guide (Seafarers Act, subsection 42(4)).
