This instrument (IMMI 12/131) revokes a prior specification (IMMI 12/001) and, from 1 January 2013, names the travel agents listed in its Schedule as the travel agents referred to in subparagraph 1218(1)(b)(iii) of Schedule 1 to the Migration Regulations 1994. Signed by Paula Williams, Delegate of the Minister, it identifies which Chinese travel agencies are specified for that regulatory purpose. It affects PRC nationals applying for tourist visas and the listed agencies by determining which agents are recognised under that regulation.

I, PAULA WILLIAMS, Delegate of the Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, acting under subparagraph 1218(1)(b)(iii) of Schedule 1 of the Migration Regulations 1994 (‘the Regulations’):
REVOKE the Instrument number IMMI 12/001 signed on 24 January 2012 specifying travel agents for the purposes of subparagraph 1218(1)(b)(iii) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations; AND
SPECIFY the travel agents listed in the Schedule to this Instrument as travel agents for the purposes of subparagraph 1218(1)(b)(iii) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations.
This Instrument, number IMMI 12/131, commences on 1 January 2013.
