Commonwealth legislation
This Act has been repealed and is no longer in force. It is retained for historical reference.
This instrument sets which temporary visa holders can access free Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) tuition — primarily holders of specified business, partner/family, and skilled regional provisional visas.
It updates the prior eligibility list to reflect current migration pathways (adding newer skilled regional and business entries, including Subclass 489) and removes older classes, ensuring recent arrivals on temporary routes can get English support to find work and settle in Australia.
