Specifies a list of China-based travel agents whose organised tours let PRC citizens in China apply for an Australian tourist visa using Form 48G at Australian diplomatic or consular offices. The instrument revokes the prior IMMI 11/019 and commences 15 February 2012. It affects PRC nationals applying as members of specified group tours and the named travel agents by determining when the Form 48G procedure applies.

I, PAULA WILLIAMS, Delegate of the Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, acting under subparagraph 1218(1)(b)(iii) of Schedule 1 of the Migration Regulations 1994 (‘the Regulations’):
REVOKE the Instrument number IMMI 11/019 signed on 12 July 2011 specifying travel agents for the purposes of subparagraph 1218(1)(b)(iii) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations; AND
SPECIFY the travel agents listed in the Schedule to this Instrument as travel agents for the purposes of subparagraph 1218(1)(b)(iii) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations.
This Instrument, number IMMI 12/001, commences on 15 February 2012. .
