Commonwealth legislation
This Act has been repealed and is no longer in force. It is retained for historical reference.
This Ministerial Instrument sets Australia’s official list of occupations eligible for General Skilled Migration, assigning each job 40, 50, or 60 points and naming the required skills-assessing authority. Which schedule applies depends on applicants’ visa history or nomination (four schedules) and determines whether you can claim points for that occupation. It’s essential for skilled-visa applicants—your occupation must be listed and assessed as specified (or in IMMI 11/069) to gain points.
