This instrument (IMMI 10/071) revokes a prior instrument and names a list of Chinese travel agents. Under subparagraph 1218(1)(b)(iii) the specification lets PRC citizens in China apply for an Australian tourist visa as members of an organised tour using Form 48G at Australian diplomatic/consular offices. It affects PRC applicants, the listed travel agents, and consular processing by defining which group-tour applications qualify; it commences 11 October 2010.

I, PAULA WILLIAMS, Delegate of the Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, acting under subparagraph 1218(1)(b)(iii) of Schedule 1 of the Migration Regulations 1994 (‘the Regulations’):
REVOKE the Instrument number IMMI 10/070 signed on 13 September 2010 specifying travel agents for the purposes of subparagraph 1218(1)(b)(iii) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations; AND
SPECIFY the travel agents listed in the Schedule to this Instrument as travel agents for the purposes of subparagraph 1218(1)(b)(iii) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations.
This Instrument, number IMMI 10/071, commences on 11 October 2010.

REVOKE the Instrument number IMMI 10/070 signed on 13 September 2010 specifying travel agents for the purposes of subparagraph 1218(1)(b)(iii) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations; AND
