Commonwealth legislation
This Act has been repealed and is no longer in force. It is retained for historical reference.
This ministerial decision names Queensland and the Northern Territory as participating jurisdictions that can sponsor certain business and employer‑sponsored visa applicants for a health waiver. It lets these two jurisdictions request waivers for four visa subclasses (846, 855, 856, 857) so applicants who would otherwise fail Australia’s health criteria may still be granted those visas. Other states and territories are not covered.
