This Act has been repealed and is no longer in force. It is retained for historical reference.
This Ministerial Instrument sets the list of travel agents approved to organise tour groups for PRC citizens applying for Australian tourist visas. It affects PRC applicants, participating travel agents in Australia and China, and immigration officers—only tours run by listed agents qualify for this visa pathway. The instrument names 53 Australian and 87 Chinese agents and took effect 26 February 2009.
