This Act has been repealed and is no longer in force. It is retained for historical reference.
Australia's Skilled Occupations List for 2008 designates which jobs qualify for skilled migration, groups occupations by level, assigns each a 40/50/60 points value, and names the professional assessors who verify overseas qualifications. It determines eligibility and assessment routes for General Skilled Migration applicants. This instrument replaced the August 2007 list and took effect on 26 April 2008.
