This Notice records a Customs delegate’s determination under paragraph 153J(1)(c) of the Customs Act 1901 that vertical shaft reciprocating four‑stroke engines (tariff 8407.90.30) are a “manufactured raw material of New Zealand,” effective 20 April 2004. It adds that single tariff line to the formal list; it does not set fees, liabilities, or compliance steps, so importers, exporters and officials must consult the Act and related rules for any fiscal or procedural consequences.
