Plain English Summary

4/10 complexity

This ministerial order replaces the 2006 specification to update which organizations may act as Regional Certifying Bodies and which postcodes count as "regional Australia" for certain employer‑sponsored visas. It lists the appointed certifiers and the postcodes treated as regional; areas not listed are non‑regional.

It affects employers seeking to sponsor overseas workers, migrants applying for regional-certified visas, and the named certifying organizations because it determines who can approve regional hires and where those rules apply.
