Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

These regulations set expense allowance rules for members of the Commonwealth Grants Commission, repealing earlier 1973–74 instruments. They tie member allowances to historical APS pay scales: a full‑time Chairman receives First Division–level allowances, other members Second Division–level, and part‑time Chairmen First Division rates but without annual and travelling allowances. Payments apply only where the Remuneration Tribunal has not made a specific determination.
