Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This regulation narrows the National Gallery of Australia's legal term "exhibition areas" to a specific set of numbered gallery rooms.

By naming the exact spaces, it clarifies which parts of the building are subject to the Act’s special rules on public access, display and protection of works, photography and food/drink restrictions—affecting visitors, Gallery staff, and institutions lending artworks.
