31 Design of date of packaging other than for cans

Except in the case of cans, the date of packaging applied under order 28 shall consist of the words ‘PACKED ON’ or the letters and word ‘PKD ON’ followed by the date, and shall be in: (a) capital letters and numbers at least 5 mm high; and (b) the form of 1 or 2 digits representing the day of the month, followed by the first 3 letters in the name of the month or the name of the month in full, followed by 4 digits representing the year or 2 digits representing the last 2 numbers of the year.
