#### 9‑26 Stopping chain of operations temporarily or controlling rate of operations
If an authorised officer reasonably believes it is necessary to do so for the purpose of:
(a) accurately inspecting or applying a decision or disposition to poultry under section 9‑21 or 9‑22; or
(b) accurately inspecting or applying a disposition to carcases or carcase parts under section 9‑23; or
(c) accurately inspecting or applying a disposition to poultry meat or poultry meat products under section 9‑24; or
(d) performing any other function that is necessary to achieve the objects of the Act in relation to the animal, carcases or carcase parts or poultry meat or poultry meat products;
the authorised officer may temporarily stop the chain of operations, or control the rate of operations, being carried out in relation to the animal, carcases or carcase parts or poultry meat or poultry meat products.
