#### 8‑23 Circumstances in which official mark must not be applied to poultry meat or poultry meat products
Official marks generally
(1) A person must not apply an official mark to poultry meat or poultry meat products if:
(a) the poultry meat or poultry meat products are not wholesome; or
(b) the poultry meat or poultry meat products have deteriorated; or
(c) the integrity of the poultry meat or poultry meat products cannot be ensured.

Foreign country identification official marks
(2) A person must not apply a foreign country identification official mark to poultry meat or poultry meat products if the circumstances in which that mark may be applied to the poultry meat or poultry meat products, as specified by the relevant importing country authority, no longer exist.
