#### 8‑21 Persons who may possess official marks that have not been applied to poultry meat or poultry meat products
A person may possess a kind of official mark for poultry meat or poultry meat products that has not been applied to any poultry meat or poultry meat products only if:
(a) the person is permitted to manufacture or supply official marks of that kind under section 8‑20 or to apply official marks of that kind under section under section 8‑22; or
(b) the person is an authorised officer; or
(c) the possession of the official mark by the person is:
(i) covered by an approved arrangement; or
(ii) in accordance with a direction given by an authorised officer; or
(d) the Secretary has given the person a written approval to possess the official mark at a specified registered establishment and in relation to specified poultry meat or poultry meat products, and the possession is in accordance with that approval.
