#### 5‑28 Identification—type of poultry
(1) A kind of prescribed poultry meat or poultry meat product must be derived from the type of poultry it purports to be derived from.
> Note: Examples of types of poultry are fowl, ducks, geese, turkeys and pigeons.
(2) To avoid doubt, a kind of prescribed poultry meat or poultry meat product (the relevant poultry meat or poultry meat product) is not derived from the type of poultry it purports to be derived from if meat or meat products derived from another type of animal (including another type of poultry) are substituted wholly or partly for the relevant poultry meat or poultry meat product.
