#### 5‑20 Prescribed poultry meat or poultry meat products for further processing
(1) Despite subsection 5‑18(1), a trade description including only the following information may be applied to prescribed poultry meat or poultry meat products that are to be transferred between registered establishments for further processing:
(a) the type of poultry from which the poultry meat or poultry meat products were derived;
(b) for packaged poultry meat or poultry meat products—the date of packaging;
(c) the words “FOR FURTHER PROCESSING BEFORE EXPORT”.
> Note 1: Examples of types of poultry are fowl, ducks, geese, turkeys and pigeons.
> Note 2: For date of packaging, see section 1‑5.
(2) If a trade description is applied to prescribed poultry meat or poultry meat products as permitted by subsection (1), then, before the poultry meat or poultry meat products are loaded for export:
(a) a trade description containing all of the information required by subsection 5‑18(3) must be applied to the poultry meat or poultry meat products; and
(b) the words “FOR FURTHER PROCESSING BEFORE EXPORT” must be removed from the trade description.
