#### 4‑14 Meat inspection services (1) This section applies if an approved arrangement for operations to prepare prescribed poultry meat or poultry meat products for export at a registered establishment: (a) provides that a Commonwealth authorised officer must be present at the establishment while operations of that kind are carried out; or (b) is subject to a condition that requires a Commonwealth authorised officer to be present at the establishment while operations of that kind are carried out. Allocation of meat inspection services to establishment (2) The occupier of the registered establishment must, before commencing operations to prepare prescribed poultry meat or poultry meat products for export at the establishment, have a preliminary allocation of meat inspection services for the establishment. > Note: Division 1 of Part 6 of this Chapter deals with applications for meat inspection services to be allocated to an establishment. Notice of proposed changes to establishment (3) If meat inspection services are allocated to a registered establishment under Part 6 of this Chapter, the occupier of the establishment must, as soon as practicable, notify the Secretary in writing of any proposed changes to the construction of the establishment, or the operations to be carried out at the establishment, that may affect the allocation of the meat inspection services. > Note: Certain alterations of registered establishments (including an addition to the establishment) must not be made without approval (see paragraph 120(1)(b) and section 122 of the Act).
