#### 11‑8 Records to be retained by holder of approved arrangement
(1) The holder of an approved arrangement for a kind of export operations in relation to prescribed poultry meat or poultry meat products must retain each document:
(a) that is made by the holder or that comes into the holder’s possession; and
(b) that is relevant to showing whether the holder has complied, or is complying, with:
(i) the applicable requirements of the Act; and
(ii) the approved arrangement; and
(iii) the conditions of the approved arrangement.
> Note: For example, the holder of an approved arrangement must retain each record made under subsections 5‑35(2) (verification of compliance), 5‑36(2) (action to address non‑compliance) and 5‑37(3) (internal audits and management reviews).
(2) The holder of the approved arrangement must retain each record referred to in subsection (1) for at least 2 years starting on the day the record is made by the holder or comes into the holder’s possession (as the case may be).
