2‑13 Requirements before organic goods certificate may be issued

For the purposes of subparagraph 62(2)(b)(iii) of the Act, the following requirements must be complied with before an organic goods certificate in relation to prescribed organic goods may be issued: (a) export operations in relation to the organic goods have been carried out in accordance with the National Organic Standard; (b) the applicable requirements of the Act in relation to the export operations and the organic goods have been complied with; (c) all importing country requirements relating to the export operations and the organic goods have been met.
