5‑23 Vehicles, container system units etc.—hygiene control

(1) The following must be cleaned and sanitised whenever necessary to prevent the contamination of prescribed milk or milk products: (a) container system units, food carrying compartments and vehicles used to transport prescribed milk and milk products; (b) equipment used to handle prescribed milk and milk products during loading and transport. (2) The following must be maintained in a good state of repair and working order to the extent necessary to ensure the fitness for human consumption of prescribed milk and milk products is not adversely affected during transport: (a) container system units, food carrying compartments and vehicles used to transport prescribed milk and milk products; (b) equipment used to handle prescribed milk and milk products during loading and transport.
