5‑22 Storage, handling and loading

(1) Prescribed eggs or egg products must be stored, handled and loaded in a way that ensures: (a) they are protected from the likelihood of contamination; and (b) the conditions (including humidity and atmosphere) under which they are stored, handled and loaded do not adversely affect their fitness for human consumption. (2) Prescribed eggs or egg products must not be loaded (including loaded for export) into or onto a conveyance unless the conveyance (including the food carrying compartment), the container system unit and the equipment used for loading comply with the applicable requirements of this Part.
