304  Direction to assist persons performing functions etc. under this Act  (a) an authorised officer is performing functions or exercising powers under this Act; and  (b) the authorised officer reasonably believes that a person (the relevant person) is able to provide reasonable assistance or facilities to the authorised officer, or to any other person who is performing functions or exercising powers under this Act; the authorised officer may direct the relevant person to provide that assistance or those facilities.  (a) the person is given a direction under subsection (1); and Penalty: Imprisonment for 6 months or 30 penalty units, or both.  (3) A person is liable to a civil penalty if the person contravenes a direction given under subsection (1).
