25Variation of temporary prohibition determination

25  Variation of temporary prohibition determination  (1) The Minister may vary a temporary prohibition determination to extend the period specified in the determination for a further period of up to 6 months.  (2) The Minister may vary a temporary prohibition determination under subsection (1) only if the Minister is satisfied that the variation is necessary:  (3) The Minister may vary a temporary prohibition determination under subsection (1) more than once.  (4) A determination varying a temporary prohibition determination must set out the reasons for making the variation.  (5) This section does not otherwise limit the application of subsection 33(3) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901 in relation to a temporary prohibition determination.
