235  Additional or corrected information in relation to application for export permit etc.  (1) The holder of an export permit must comply with subsection (2) if:  (a) the holder becomes aware that information included in an application made by the holder to which Part 5 of this Chapter applies, or information or a document given to the Secretary in relation to such an application, was incomplete or incorrect; or  (2) The holder of the export permit must, as soon as practicable, give the Secretary additional or corrected information, to the extent that it is relevant to assessing whether:  (a) the requirements of this Act in relation to the export of the goods for which the permit was issued have been complied with, or will be complied with before the goods are imported into the importing country; or  (b) the importing country requirements relating to the goods for which the permit was issued have been met, or will be met before the goods are imported into the importing country. Note 1: A person may commit an offence or be liable to a civil penalty if the person makes a false or misleading statement in an application or provides false or misleading information or documents (see sections 136.1, 137.1 and 137.2 of the Criminal Code and sections 367, 368 and 369 of this Act).
