232 Effect of suspension (1) If the Secretary suspends an export permit under subsection 231(1), the suspension takes effect when the holder of the permit receives written notice of the suspension. (2) An export permit that is suspended under subsection 231(1) remains in force while it is suspended. However, while the permit is suspended, it does not authorise the export of the goods for which it was issued.
