22Protection of authorised officers and other persons

#### 22 Protection of authorised officers and other persons (1) An authorised officer is not liable to any action, suit or proceeding for or in relation to an act done or omitted to be done in good faith in the exercise or purported exercise of any power or authority, or in the performance or purported performance of any function, conferred on the authorised officer by this Act. (2) A person who is requested by an authorised officer, whether under section 13 or otherwise, to provide assistance to that officer in the exercise or purported exercise of any power or authority, or in the performance or purported performance of any function, conferred on the authorised officer by this Act is not liable to any action, suit or proceeding for or in relation to an act done or omitted to be done in good faith in the provision, or purported provision, of that assistance.
