#### 9E Grounds to cancel an authorisation 9E Grounds to cancel an authorisation > > (1) The regulatory authority may cancel the authorisation of an explosive on 1 or more of the following grounds— > > > > > (a) the authorisation of the explosive in another State or Territory has been cancelled, > > > > > (b) the regulatory authority reasonably considers the authorisation should be cancelled— > > > > > > > (i) on safety grounds, or > > > > > > > (ii) on public interest grounds, or > > > > > > > (iii) because the regulatory authority considers the authorisation to have no ongoing effect, or > > > > > > > (iv) on grounds prescribed by the regulations. > > > (2) The cancellation of an authorisation does not entitle a person to compensation. > > **s 9E:** Ins 2023 No 23, Sch 1\[8\].
