27 Extension of certain provisions of [Work Health and Safety Act 2011](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2011-010) relating to inspectors and enforcement of this Act
> > (1) The [Work Health and Safety Act 2011](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2011-010), Part 8, Division 2 and Part 9, other than section 187, apply to inspectors (within the meaning of this Act) for the purposes of the administration of this Act and the regulations.

> > (2) For the purpose of the application of those provisions—
> >
> > > (a) a reference in the [Work Health and Safety Act 2011](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2011-010) to “this Act or the regulations” is taken to be a reference to this Act or the regulations under this Act, and
> >
> > > (b) a reference in the [Work Health and Safety Act 2011](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2011-010) to a workplace is taken to be a reference to premises in which the handling of explosives, explosive precursors or dangerous goods to which section 31 of this Act applies is occurring, and
> >
> > > (c) a reference in the [Work Health and Safety Act 2011](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2011-010) to an inspector (within the meaning of that Act) is taken to be a reference to an inspector (within the meaning of this Act).

> Police officers have powers to search for, seize and detain anything in the possession of a person that the police officer has reasonable grounds to believe has been used in or in connection with an offence under Part 2 of this Act—see Division 1 of Part 4 of the [Law Enforcement (Powers and Responsibilities) Act 2002](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2002-103). Section 211 of that Act provides for the return or forfeiture and disposal of seized things.
