#### 38 Appointment of inspectors 38 Appointment of inspectors > > (1) The Secretary may appoint a Public Service employee to be an inspector for the purposes of this Act. > > > (2) The Minister may authorise in writing any person to exercise the functions of an inspector, subject to such restrictions (if any) as are specified in the authority. > > > (3) The Minister may amend or revoke an authority referred to in subsection (2). > > > (4) An inspector shall have, and may exercise, the functions conferred or imposed on inspectors by or under this Act. > > **s 38:** Am 2015 No 58, Sch 3.33 \[5\].
