39M Appointment of inspectors (1) The Commission may appoint, by instrument, any of the following persons as an inspector— (a) an employee of the Commission; (b) a person employed under Part 3 of the **Public Administration Act 2004**; (c) any other person employed by the State; (d) any other person who the Commission considers has appropriate skills, qualifications and experience. (2) The Commission must not appoint a person as an inspector unless the Commission is satisfied that the person is appropriately qualified or has successfully completed appropriate training. (3) In exercising powers or performing functions as an inspector, an inspector must comply with any direction of the Commission. S. 39N inserted by No. 41/2021 s. 5.
