38 Form of information gathering notice An information gathering notice must— (a) be in writing; and (b) specify the following matters— (i) the person on whom it is served; (ii) the purpose of the information gathering notice; (iii) the information or class of information (if any) required to be provided to the Commission and the time and manner by which it must be provided; (iv) the document or class of document (if any) required to be produced to the Commission and the time and manner by which it must be produced; (v) the time and place (if any) at which a person is required to appear before the Commission to give information or evidence or to produce a document; (vi) whether the notice served is under section 36(1) or 37(1); and (c) include a copy of this Part.
