195C Commissioner (1) The person who, immediately before the commencement day, held office as the Commissioner is taken, on and from the commencement day to be the Commissioner for the remainder of his or her term of appointment, subject to the same terms and conditions of appointment, as if he or she had been appointed under section 170. (2) Section 172 of the old Act continues to apply to the Commissioner, despite the repeal of the old Act. (3) On the commencement day, the person who, immediately before the commencement day, held office as the Commissioner ceases to be a member of the Board.
