170 Appointment and role of Commissioner (1) There is to be a Commissioner of the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission appointed by the Board with the approval of the Minister. (2) The Commissioner— (a) is responsible to the Board for control of the day-to-day administration of the affairs of the Commission in accordance with the policies, priorities and strategies determined by the Board; and (b) has any other functions, powers and duties delegated to the Commissioner by the Commission or the Board.
