162 Functions of the Board (1) The Board is responsible for— (a) determining the Commission's strategic direction and the general nature of activities to be undertaken by the Commission in performing its functions; and (b) setting policies, priorities and strategies for the Commission in performing its functions; and (c) ensuring that the Commission performs the functions and duties conferred on the Commission by or under this Act or any other Act; and (d) deciding whether the Commission should conduct an investigation under section 127. (2) The Board has any other functions conferred on it by or under this or any other Act. (3) The Board has all the powers necessary to enable it to perform its functions.
