155 Functions and powers of Commission (1) The Commission has the following functions— (a) to establish and undertake information and education programs; (b) to promote and advance the objectives of this Act and to be an advocate for this Act; (c) any other functions conferred on it by or under this Act or any other Act, including the Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities. (2) The Commission has all the powers necessary to enable it to perform its functions. (3) The Commission must exercise all its functions and powers in accordance with this Act and compatibly with the Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities.
