44 Subsection 29(5) (5) If, within the period specified in subsection (1) (or that period as extended under subsection (2) or (4)), the proposal to vary the Basel permit is referred under Subdivision A of Division 4 of Part 11 of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999, the Minister must decide whether to make the variation within 30 days after he or she receives advice under that Subdivision on the proposed variation. Note: Under Subdivision A of Division 4 of Part 11 of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999, persons considering whether to authorise certain actions must get advice on environmental matters from the Minister administering that Subdivision.
