#### 233 Adoption of development plans 233 Adoption of development plans > > (1) A development plan is adopted by a relevant authority if— > > > > > (a) the relevant authority resolves to adopt the plan or takes other action that is necessary to take the decision to adopt the plan, and > > > > > (b) the relevant authority publishes notice of the adoption of the plan on the NSW planning portal within 28 days after the decision of the relevant authority to adopt the plan. > > > (2) A relevant authority must not adopt a development plan unless it is satisfied that the consent of the owners, as referred to in the Act, Schedule 7, clause 3(2)(g), has been obtained. > > > (3) A development plan that is adopted by a relevant authority is taken to be in force in relation to the subdivision land for the purposes of the Act, Schedule 7, clause 4(5).
