2 Commencement

(1) This Regulation commences on 1 March 2022, except as provided by subsections (2) and (3), and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.

Note—

This Regulation replaces the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000, which is repealed on 1 March 2022 by the Subordinate Legislation Act 1989.

(2) Schedule 8 commences on 1 July 2022.

(3) Schedule 9 commences on 1 January 2022, immediately before the commencement of the Environmental Planning and Assessment (Development Certification and Fire Safety) Regulation 2021.
