Tasmania regulation
This Order gives itself a short title, takes effect on the day it is notified in the Gazette (cl 1–2), and identifies the Environmental Management and Pollution Control Act 1994 as the Principal Act (cl 3). Clause 4 records that the amendment made by the Order has been incorporated into the authorised version of that Act. It is administered by the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment. Practically, the instrument is an administrative vehicle that changes the Principal Act’s text and fixes when that change takes effect.
