5Exemption

#### 5 Exemption (1) This Act does not apply in relation to the disposal or storage of controlled material (other than a vessel, aircraft or platform) directly arising from, or related to, the exploration, exploitation and associated off‑shore processing, of seabed mineral resources. (2) This Act does not apply in relation to the disposal or storage, in the Greater Sunrise special regime area or the waters above it, of a vessel, aircraft or platform directly arising from, or related to, the exploration, exploitation and associated off‑shore processing, of seabed mineral resources.
