57 Decision or recommendation on accepted referral except proponent initiated EIS referral (1) This regulation does not apply to a proponent initiated EIS referral. (2) The NT EPA may, in relation to an accepted referral: required; or (i) that a standard assessment is required; and (c) in the case of a referred strategic proposal – recommend to the Minister: (i) that a strategic assessment be carried out; and (d) recommend to the Minister that the Minister refuse to grant (3) A decision or recommendation under this regulation must be made within 30 business days after the end of the submission period (4) The required period for the NT EPA to make a decision or recommendation under this regulation ceases to run during the period of any consultation required under regulation 60, 61 or 62.
