240 Show cause process (1) The CEO must not make a decision to refuse to grant registration as an environmental auditor or an environmental practitioner under regulation 238 or 239 unless the CEO has first complied with this applicant: (a) stating the CEO's intention to refuse to grant registration; and (b) asking the applicant to show cause why the registration should be granted. applicant may show cause.
Environment Protection Regulations 2020 123 (5) The CEO must consider any response given by the applicant to the show cause notice in making a decision under regulation 238 or 239.
